Friends and Family of Plano FFA

Friends and Family of Plano FFA, Inc. is a non-profit corporation created for the sole purpose of furthering agricultural education in Plano ISD secondary schools. It is an entirely separate entitity from Plano East FFA.

It's primary beneficiaries are high school and senior high school member students who raise agricultural project animals for participation in the annual (January) Collin County Jr. Livestock Show's Premium Sale. These kids work hard to raise the livestock, prepare them for show, and (if they "make sale") present them at auction.

For more information on joining this organization or volunteering go to www.planoffa.org

We are the Friends and Family of Plano FFA, Inc.  We are a non-profit  - 501(C) 3 corporation.

We are the buyers group that supports Plano East, West and Senior High Schools.

Our purpose is to raise funds during the year and award those monies to the PISD FFA livestock, shop, and floral exhibitors who make premium sale at the Collin County JR Livestock show that is held each January at the Myers Park Event Center in McKinney.

If your student is involved in raising livestock, building in shop or in floral design we highly encourage you to join this group, otherwise you alone will be responsible for finding someone to bid on your child's project at the live auction on Saturday if/when they "make sale".  To give you an idea of what this means, last year at the County Show, we had several students do very well and they made sale.  One male pig and his owner made $1761.00, another made $1104.00, $1326.00 etc. A student and his chickens brought in $878.00.  A floral design made $333.00. These are just examples of what can be made, last year we paid out over $12,000.00.
